Steve has learned and applies with teams that people and results are what matter most. He has participated in the development and deployment of large enterprise systems such as SAP, Sharepoint, and Oracle as well as custom built solutions in healthcare, financial services, insurance, ecommerce, retail, construction and other industries.
Steve has demonstrated an ability to work at a very detailed level coaching teams while communicating effectively & building trust with senior executives. In that capacity Steve led teams which deployed and supported technology solutions to over 50 ecommerce and retail customers. Significant experience with PMO Development, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Team Development, Business Analysis, and more. Outstanding leader with proven mentoring, team building, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Over 9 years of Agile Implementation, Coaching and Training experience, working with over 300 Agile teams. Experience working with organizations of all sizes, from Fortune 50 to startup.
Bill has more than 17 years of working in the software development field as a developer, project manager, Scrum Master, and a training coach. Bill has coached and managed teams on both the national and international levels, having worked with an extensive range of client types and sizes including the technology divisions of SUPERVALU, Apple, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, American Airlines, Boeing, GlaxoSmithKline, Foot Locker, Limited Brands, FedEx, Macy’s, and Polo.
Bill is an expert in identifying areas of opportunity obscured by process deficiencies, including those commonly found in application implementations, product design, and software development. Having worked with numerous project and development teams, Bill is proficient in blending strong leadership, creativity, organization, and analytical abilities in his effort to deliver high-value, high-energy training courses to development teams with a focus on delivering more in less time.
Bill is an accomplished, experienced Agile trainer, effectively leading product and project teams in a wide array of Agile management and methodology based initiatives. Dedicated, responsible, and organized, while possessing extremely strong internal and client-facing communication skills. He is currently a PMP accredited member of the project management institute and is active in the Agile Alliance and Scrum Alliance communities.
Andy Painter has over 16 years of professional software development experience. Andy has experience as a developer, technical lead, architect and project lead with hands on experience with all aspects of the application development cycle utilizing a myriad of methodologies, languages and tools. Other the last 5 years, Andy has coupled that deep technology experience with Agile practices to create teams and environments that are hyper-productive. This unique combination of experience gives some real-world experience on how best to establish an Agile organization and teams through an enablement process that allows an organization, teams, and individuals to achieve a hyper-productive state delivering continuous streams of value through quality software.
Lee’s 12 years of experience spans a broad array of software production roles and responsibilities. He is currently one of just over 100 Certified Scrum Trainers worldwide and has Certified well over 1000 ScrumMasters and Product Owners. Lee has worked hands on as a GUI web developer, quality assurance analyst, automated test engineer, senior product manager, senior project manager, ScrumMaster, agile coach, consultant, and ADDIE training professional. He has worked with hundreds of teams to assist them in successful implementation of thousands of projects. His client list includes over 25 of the Fortune 100 companies, Government sector projects, small and large software production facilities, and multiple successful large-scale e-commerce implementations.
His unique blend of recent real-world experience in various roles combined with the ability to drive home complex concepts in an easy to understand manner make him an amazing resource to get any team at any level best focused on project related initiatives. His personal approach and ability to inspect and adapt to any situation during training and coaching sessions has helped inspire teams to be successful at any level.
Lee is a graduate of the Disney Management Institute and has served as Chairperson for the Scrum Alliance Certification Advisory Board. He is the author of the Definitive Agile Checklist and publishes the Agile Mentor monthly newsletter. He is the inventor of Rapid Release Planning and is continually looking for ways to advance the Agile and Scrum community.
Cody has seven years of working experience in the Information Technology field as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, and SCRUM Master. His experience incorporates both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies. In utilizing these two methodologies for Project Management, Cody has gained the experience required to determine a project’s minimum requirements, while maximizing efficiency to ensure delivery of quality products on time and within budget.
As a Business Analyst and Project Manager, Cody has demonstrated a superior ability to identify and document the business requirements determined by product owners. He uses these skills to prioritize project goals, ensuring the successful delivery, implementation, and deployment of quality, working software. His experience ranges from working with internal development teams on proprietary projects to working with domestic and international teams for broad scale project development and implementation.
Serving as a liaison between clients and IT teams and management has afforded Cody the understanding for the importance of effective communication when developing solutions in the fast paced IT world. As an Account Manager for an organization in the Healthcare industry, Cody established an effective and efficient communication chain, which built trust with government officials and the organization’s senior management. The success of the multimillion dollar project is a testament to Cody’s ability to build working bonds between all parties involved in a project.
Christy Clement has been managing software projects since 2003 and implementing Agile with companies since 2008. Christy has experience coaching traditional software teams as well as non-traditional hardware and infrastructure teams as they moved from waterfall to Agile. In addition to her extensive experience coaching, she has also acted as Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Product Owner and Project Manager with companies ranging in size from small independent firms to Fortune 50 multi-nationals.
Christy has seen the positive impact Agile can have and derives much satisfaction from helping teams embrace this approach. She believes fully in the empowerment of the team, the visibility obtained, the quality of work resulting and the trust that is gained by implementing Agile. Christy has trained hundreds of people and shares that passion with all of her students. She is a natural teacher and her enjoyment and laughter is contagious in her classroom.
Christy is a Certified Scrum Master and a GE Six Sigma Blackbelt. She holds degrees in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon Univeristy and an MBA from Case Western Reserve.
Rodney Ashton has over 25 years experience in the IT and training world. He has been an IT Manager, Product Manager, Project Manager, Business/Methods Analyst, Consultant, and Trainer & Facilitator. Rod has consulted with, or trained, a wide range of organizations and software companies throughout the United States and in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Japan. His client list ranges from start-up companies to organizations in the Fortune 100.
Rod has participated in a wide range of development and deployment projects including enterprise HR systems, computer/web-based training systems, international currency exchange systems, POS systems and web-based systems; most of which have a worldwide user base. Rod specializes in consulting/training organizations which have international projects that are “in distress” and has, among his peers, become known as “the MacGyver” of problem solving.
An expert project manager, trainer and team-builder, Rod is able to focus on people and processes to help organizations improve performance. His experience with Agile consistently helps teams adapt to the needs of accelerating the pace of development and/or improving business processes in increasingly complex environments.
With over 15 years in the enterprise software industry, Erik has held several key roles as Developer, Manager, Trainer, Project Manager, Software Architect, and ScrumMaster. As Software Architect, he helped significantly in the introduction of two new enterprise software products by leading the development effort from inception to market. As a Certified ScrumMaster since 2008, he repeatedly over delivered on requirements while sticking to a rigid release schedule. He creatively found ways to successfully lead teams both on and off-shore while using Agile. Because he believes the agile philosophy has made significant improvements on how we development software for all parties, you will find Erik enthusiastically enjoys teaching it to others. He has joined the Davisbase team with his passion to see people succeed and enjoy what they do professionally. Erik is also family man and lives for adventure. He loves the role as husband to his lovely wife and a strategic father to 3 wonderful children. Enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, wake surfing, and boating.
